Does anyone remember Green Day performing on SNL back in the day and not having any of their swearing censored?
I believe it was because no one could understand what he was singing, really. But still.....that was fun.
Musicians always seem so awkward when self-censoring.
Has anyone ever heard Kanye West sing "She ain't messing with no broke....broke". That's just embarrassing. It's just a word. Say it. You wrote it and recorded it. Everyone in the audience is singing the right line because they bought the album. So why are you doing that on stage?
