June 4th, 2003 at the old common grounds in Gainesville (its now another club). it was with fifth hour hero and someone shitty i think. really good show. there were like 80 to 100 people there and when they finished everyone just stayed. even though it was a local kind of show everyone demanded they play more (they only played like 11 songs or something). they said that they were too tired and that if they played any more it would sound really band and they didn't want to leave a bad taste in everyone's mouth.

sometime in 2003 or 2004, the polish home in glen cove, new york. they played last in a long line up of bands (the only one i remember is communique), and they played on the floor and let us dance on the stage. amazing night. _________________ "maybe heaven is found by being sinful your entire life and, upon death, finding out there's no such place as hell." - bobby burgess

First time was at the Ottobar on September 16th, 2005 with The Twats, Smoke or Fire, and some three-piece poppunk band i forget the name of. I skipped my Junior Prom to go to this, and I have absolutely no regrets. They opened with Impact and everyone went nuts. I also remember hearing Unsubstantiated Rumors, which seemed to have gone into retirement following that tour, so I'm glad I had the oppurtunity to attend that show.
That was the first of 7 shows, with my 8th one coming up on the 8th of October. Hah, 8th on the 8th, ain't that cute?
That show was actually in April 2005. I was there too, and a friend of mine WENT to junior prom instead of this (he thoroughly regretted it). Anyway, that show was incredible and my sister managed to get a pretty good video of the band playing Sink, Florida, Sink which I've had up on Youtube for a while.
JORDAN!!! CALL ME!!! HAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!

Late 2000. Tom and Kevin in a living room in Tampa. Buckets and an acoustic. James manned the PA. I think there's a few of these threads. Fun to hear about nonetheless.

mine was- mike park, grabass charlestons, lucero, and against me! @ the troubadour, march 12, 2004. Really, one of the best shows i've ever been to. So much fun. I even saw matt skiba there and waved to him.
I was at this show! Fun as hell!!!
My first time was November 9, 2003 @ House of Blues Anaheim w/ Against Me!, None More Black, Rise Against, and Anti-Flag (Fat Wreck tour). It was a couple days after Eternal Cowboy came out. SUCH a good setlist. (And I picked up ATEC on pink at the show!)
I have no idea how many times I have sen them since. (It's up there in the double digits, I know that).
YEAH!!! HIGH FIVE! that show was siqqqq. haha. Doood, your from glendora! im from azusa, or used to be anyways!! i might know you.

i missed their first CT show, but i caught their 2nd one, which was in a cafeteria at the university of hartford with a ton of bands i can't remember... right when eternal cowboy came out... the PA blew out about 2 songs in, so the band continued on with the crowd singing every song.. it was seriously amazing.

I had been a fan for years and the first time I saw them was November 7, 2005. The Soviettes, Smoke Or Fire, Epoxies opened for them. The first 'real' show I'd been too, and one of the best nights of my life.

i left after Mastodons first song. but it was probably the weirdest show i've been to. 3 different crowds all to together.
