American Football is nothing like rugby. Those American sissy's are covered in protective gear and rugbyplayers are just well-built.

I mean, Texas is widely known for it's German populace so it most certainly makes sense, but I think that it's true meaning will probably be lost in time forever. Le sigh.

There are some minor similarities, but they are still very different. In rugby you aren't allowed to play the ball forwards to name just one.

I live right next to New Braunfels. It is sooooo German. And I always go out to Fredericksburg, massively German.

Lived in Klein most my life, everything has a German name... though not that many German people here now, entire town was founded by German bankers though soooo it makes sense.
