I used to live there, for about 10 years. Before that I grew up just east of Orlando.
Now I'm in Sarasota, close enough to the beach to enjoy it - but far enough away not to get flooded in hurricanes.

As far as I know, they aren't exactly big in Canada. I mean, most people I've talked to there haven't ever heard of them, aside from my brothers and his friends. And two of my friends, both of whom know them, and like them enough to listen to them, but aren't exactly the greatest of fans.

i think thats how it is in most places. In the time i've been listening I've only met 3-4 people who knew and liked AM!. Other then that am the one infecting people with the AM! bug. |

Yeah, I definitely know very little about America. I tend to avoid knowing things about it, because they tend to avoid knowing things about anyone else.
I forget whether it was from Rick Mercer's own show (I forget what it's called), or This Hour Has 22 Minutes, but there's a section on one of those called Talking To Americans. Seriously, it's shameful how much ignorant people can be. Then again, Canadians aren't much worse, considering most of us refuse to believe that there are open-minded Americans that aren't hippies and Americans who actually know a thing or two about other cultures/countries.

| yeah but these shows are not representative in any way..
it's like teen idol.. they only show the really bad/obscure and the really good ones although the majority is pretty good oder at least ok.. |
