I think this is truly an amazing song... not just lyrically. Have you ever seen the crowd when this song is played... everyone goes BEZERK! Most people when they first hear this song, think it is a great drinking song, the music is so upbeat, it really sounds like a happy song, but really the lyrics are so depressing. This is song writing and music working together at its best!

I do think it is quite odd that one of their most popular songs is about the ravages of alcoholism... the first time I met the guys we did more than party like rockstars, we got shit faced retarted!

I think it was about 4 in the morning when James announced that we should all take are shirts off, and when you are hammered this sounds like a good idea.
