I actually like Shellac.

Yes! They are douchebags. (The whole "integrity" thing can get annoying and obnoxious, quite frankly. And the idea of a band built around the idea of never doing anything to promote the band or the music is....well...stupid.)

Yes! Their fans tend to be....well, if you know about Shellac, you know about their fans. (Or you are one of those people. If that is the case, I'm really sorry.)

Despite that, yes! They are awesome!

I was listening to "Excellent Italian Greyhound" today. It's such a good album. Crazy. But Good.

Any other fans of Shellac 'round these here parts?
