Story of my whole entire life.
Seriously? Crass > The Clash? Are you serious? Did you actually think that and then type it? I mean nothing against Crass or anything but they're just not in the same league. |

There was a guy I was friends with in high school who said the same thing. I believe he also compared the lyrics to middle schoolers' attempts at poetry. _________________ p.s. i'm a female, kids.

| Has naybody else bought the Live at Shea Stadium CD? From Here To Eternity is good but Shea Stadium is a better reflection of the Clash's brilliance live. Top, top stuff. Just a shame that the only similar sets available with Topper (who was miles better than Terry Chimes) are bootlegs.
Check out this page for an absolute shitload of Clash boots http://www.clashcity.com/boards/viewtopic.php?f=10&t=10
And this page for info on said boots http://homepage.mac.com/blackmarketclash/ _________________ I'm ticking like a fucking bomb. |

| Yeah, there is some really good stuff out there. I take it you've seen Rudeboy? Even if some of the tracks were studio overdubs, I think it's a great account. The film istelf is dull, but the live stuff is good. I'm downloading one of the ones from their Bonds residency now. As time goes by my favourite songs tend to come from '79 to '82. I'm into Know Your Rights and Police on My Back (ok, so it's an Eddy Grant song but who cares) and Straight to Hell is ace. _________________ I'm ticking like a fucking bomb. |
