I think it's time we all come clean. Yea, to our friends we rep our elitist ways. "What you don't know who AJJ is?" "Vinyl, it's just.. just.. better, you wouldn't understand."
But we all know in the confines of your room, or hiding behind headphones, you rock a "few" songs that would make you lose major scene points. You curse the song for being so catchy, but you can't break your attachment to it and you will always claim, "Oh, I don't know how that got on my mp3 player," when caught by friends.
Confess.
I'll go first. There's this band called Alphabeat, Danish Pop Band, I can't get the song Fascination out of my head. The music video makes me happy.
Ok don't leave me out to dry.

Haha, I try not to feel guilty about my guilty pleasures. If it makes me happy, I'll listen to it. I remember the first time Lex looked at my ipod and she told me that I listen to a lot of weird shit, but I do. I still listen to *Nsync's greatest hits like no other, and Destiny's Childs greatest hits is amaaazing. Everything Beyonce does is fun to dance to. I also love TLC, I ain't 2 proud 2 beg. Basically late 90's pop. _________________ I've looked at life from both sides now. From win and lose, and still somehow, It's life's illusions I recall. I really don't know life at all.

I'm like lauren, I don't really see these things as GUILTY.. but the things my friends are embarrassed to admit that I listen to are endless. Prozzak is the first thing that comes to mind, but I'm sure my list is endless. Oh, the N Sync christmas cd is totally up there on my list.

I don't know if any of this would count as guilty pleasures, but...
Don McLean Journey (Just a small town girl, livin' in a lonely world! ) Niel Diamond (He's just awesome, though.) Meat Loaf (He's also just bloody awesome.) A lot of the Bongo Flava genre (I wouldn't really call it a guilty pleasure, though... But I think most hardcore punx would tell me off for listening to it.) Etc. _________________ I don't know what I believe in, I don't know where I belong, So I scream at the top of my lungs, And I run in every direction...

Also, none of the above am I "guilty" of, it's just something that isn't very DIY/hardcore punx shit. Y'know? _________________ I don't know what I believe in, I don't know where I belong, So I scream at the top of my lungs, And I run in every direction...

Agreed on Paramore. "That's What You Get" was stuck in my head the other day, and it nearly drove me insane. I can't believe such an insipid song can be so catchy.

Psh, nothing to be ashamed of there. Hall & Oates are 80's pop and they're fuckin' AMAZING. _________________ I've looked at life from both sides now. From win and lose, and still somehow, It's life's illusions I recall. I really don't know life at all.
