I can't wait for the new album, but I fear that Green Day may wind up a victim of their own success. It's going to be really hard for them to top American Idiot, and I feel even if they release a great album that isn't quite the masterpiece that American Idiot is, people will shit on it by comparison.

People were shitting all over them because of American Idiot too, though. They're just one of those bands that will always have fans and will always have haters. I'm excited for their new album too.
