that's what happened to Brand New when I was in Middle School, I still can't hear another song from them....

then to Bloc Party

Then she did it to Noah and The Whale.

then that one song by that Katy Perry girl.....


I made the mistake this morning of being half asleep and TELLING her the band I had playing in my car yesterday -.-

she's doing it to Metric now, I think I'm gunna cry.

psssh like that's possible....she got that fucking sound system going on her room...like one morning she was blasting Rap....I couldn't get away form it man...I covered my head witht he pillow and I can still hear the THUMP THUMP THUMP THUMP from the bass

Oh man, one of my best friends is this girl I've known since elementary school. She's not a very active music fan so she's content with listening to the same shit she listened to in middle school. And it's usually stuff that I had recommended to her when we were 14. I swear, if I have to listen to Brand New's "Your Favorite Weapon" or Taking Back Sunday's "Tell All Your Friends" one more time, I'm gonna do something drastic. They're not bad albums, but they become pretty shitty when played on repeat for almost 6 years..

I have the same problem with the middle by jimmy eat world, it was overplayed so much I still can't stand listening to it and it's been years since it was popular.

I don't know what it is about that song, but I can hear it over and over again without being sick of it.

The band that really got overplayed was STP. I love STP to death, but even I couldn't stand how much they were pushed in this area (especially by K-Rock) in the mid-90s.

i cant think of anything thats overplayed by other people......

but i really burnt myself out on against me! for a while.
its only in the last few days that ive been able to listen to reinventing axl rose and as the eternal cowboy again.

i went quite a long time without even listening to them at all.

my sister overplayed for an entire summer the album Deja Entendu (or whatever it's spelled.)

and that was YEARS ago I still can't hear another song from that album....
