Hi right, I'm Loz from Manchester in England.
Errr, I'm prone to not thinking through posts, but its the net so who gives a shit, eh? Just don't take me too seriously and I'm alright, I think.
Err what else, well I'm only just getting into Against me, so I'm a bit of a skreg about them. I have the Reinventing Axl Rose album, and I'll probably get some more sooner or later. I'll be honest like, I mainly joined this forum to discuss other bands because you all seem pretty knowledgeable about other bands I like, so I could learn a thing or two Embarassed

. But liking AM more by the day, I've had the album about a weekish.
Are we meant to say other shit? I like football, doing nothing productive for long periods and maths.

Oh god no, they're not even from Manchester (Greater Manchester tbf)

I support City, you played us last year. I think it ended 3-2, was a good game in the end, Elia was a handful. And McClaren is a good manager, did wonder with Borough but he is a shocking international manager.

Yeah, that's right! We also played Arsenal last year. Elia is a really good player. I think he is/will be better than Robben. McLaren is also doing great here. The guy who was manager here before him did some amazing things and we thought it couldn't be any better, but Steve did it. We became second last year and are currently at the top of the league.

Haha, all Europeans make fun of American football, but to be honest none of you really understand how giganticly fucking massive each and every NFL player is. They are literally like giants. If there were no pads people would be near dead once a week. Ive got a whole shitload of family in Ireland and everyone of them talks shit about American ball. But one of my cousins became a physical rehab trainer or somehting and got a job with the Philadelphia Eagles (FUCK THE EAGLES). Haha, now she sees these guys up close and personal and they are all huge massive men. nowadays she doesnt talk so much trash about the NFL.. I'm not taking away anything from european football though, or rugby. which is brutal as all hell, but still not every player is at least 6'5" 250 lbs.

They don't need all that protective gear, I believe they can take some hits. Like you pointed out yourself, rugby is what real men do. It's harder and all they protect are their teeth, balls and sometimes their ears. No one dies playing rugby. Well, not often anyway Razz

And I believe you when you say those guys aren't small, but that wasn't the point I was making. You guys call it FOOTball, but they rarely use their feet. Why call it football? Doesn't make sense, right? American Handball would be a better name in my opinion.

Oh, and I just checked out the Philadelphia Eagles players, and only four of them are 6'5" or bigger, and most defensive players have beer bellies. I thought those guys needed to be in shape?

Nothing wrong with a bit of elitism, how else could one keep one's ego inflated in the face of ridicule?

And the whole football vs football thing pisses me off, American football is exactly that because its only played in America. Football is football because world wide it is referred to as football or a vriant on that (Futsal, le foot etc). I played American football once though, the game is very fun to play I'll give you that.

and i can agree the name might not make sense
