Do you guys have a show you watch every week? My mom watches quite a bit TV and usually sucks me in for a while. I love CSI, Law and Order, shows like that. Sometimes I watch Survivor ...it's so bad it's good. There's this show called Supernatural that I love, it's about demon hunters and weird stuff like that.

Warped Tour

So I know that Warped Tour isn't everyone's cup of tea, but I plan on going this summer..mostly just to see Against Me! Yeah, yeah, it's a 30 minute set..but it's better than nothing! I also think Warped Tour can be really fun if you go with a good group of friends.

So if you're going, what dates do you plan to attend?

Lex & I are hitting up a few of the California dates. I'm also going on vacation to Boston for a couple weeks this summer, so I'll be at the Boston date as well.

This band is incredible. Caught their set at the Pitchfork Festival over the weekend. They've crafted these amazing anthems of positive nihilism, as if to say, "We're all doomed, so let's fuck shit up and have a great time while we're here" Chatted with their singer a couple of times in the crowd after their show, really cool guy.

Apparently AM! will have a street team through Warner Bros. at www.thestreetnetwork.com. (I'm just assuming this because that's where I saw it listed a few months back). Most of the bands from Warner have forums for bands there, which they call "Street Teams." You have to "apply" to become part of it, and I applied a long time ago but never heard a response. I used to be in one for another band, and basically all you do is talk about the band and people ...

If you've ever received a mixtape from someone before, you probably know that it's the most awesomest, bestest feeling in the world. So, the goal here is to make other people in the forum happy, via a mixtape.

I figure the easiest way to do this is to mail every mixtape to one location, and from there I could just ship out to the return address. That way, if you make someone a mixtape, you'll receive one without worrying about the other person jibbing ...

I just bought Final Fantasy IV today.

Yeah, I know it's been on the PSX, the GBA, and of course the SNES, so the DS version isn't worth getting that excited over if you're an old timer.

But it is awesome.

(Tomorrow my pre-order of Izuna 2: The Unemployed Ninja comes in. It's a good month for games.)

Anchorless Records has finalized the track listing for their forthcoming Johnny Cash tribute album. All Aboard: A Tribute to Johnny Cash; To Benefit the Syrentha Savio Endowment will feature contributions from the likes of The Bouncing Souls, Chuck Ragan, Gaslight Anthem, Smoke or Fire and more.

The album will be released on both CD and vinyl with the later version featuring a bonus Ben Nichols track. The liner notes are also set to include quotes from each band or artist about Johnny Cash ...

I just found out they'll be in Madison this Saturday, and it forced me to listen to them and rekindle my love for loudness and chaos.

I saw them about 8 months ago at the same community center and it had so much energy. Definitely one of the best shows I've ever participated in, especially with the small venue vibe and intense crowd.

It's an aquired taste, who else enjoys attempting to calculate infinity while setting fire to sleeping giants?

So, not my favorite by any means, but I really enjoy a lot of Goldfinger's stuff, and their cover of 99 Redballoons is amazing. I just saw them in concert with Less Than Jake, and Goldfinger finished off the night amazingly, it was so energetic, half the crowd up stage, just so much energy, i'm so tired right now.

But does anyone else like Goldfinger at all?

Okay, my question is what do you want for the new album?

You get to choose three things you want for it.

Mine are:

1. Tom Gabel my friend, SCREAM out those words (that is what i think New Wave lacks out on)

2. A bit more political, emotional lyrics (not love or so, but songs that mean someting) "Wash these shores awat" just dont cut it for me^^

3. I like the songs thant dont have an specific refrain, I love those kind of songs that are just a chunk of lyrics!
